My name is Kan Man, a Belgian born Chinese. I studied photography and worked as a fashion/portrait photographer in Belgium for 5 years and I have over 10 years of experiences in varies type of photography.

In 2014 I had the chance to work on a project in Hong Kong and an opportunity to explore my Chinese heritage which leads me to move to Hong Kong. This life changing experience has brought me to Biru, a stray mongrel puppy, who I found from my neighbourhood’s dumpster. Although having a pet doesn’t fit my lifestyle but Biru has enriched it. Having her has taught me patience. As a result, it has opened up different directions within photography.

During a photographic sessions for a friend, which requires animal pictures but has budget restrains, so we photographed Biru for the campaign. Biru became the next dog model!

This started my journey with petography.
